Ms. Terry-Ann Segree
Investment Manager, Development Bank of Jamaica, Jamaica Venture Capital Programme
Terry-Ann Segree is the Investment Manager of the Development Bank of Jamaica, Jamaica Venture Capital Programme, with responsibility for managing the DBJ/JVCP private equity funds portfolio of investments and the execution of strategies aimed at stimulating investments in the Jamaican private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) markets. She provides leadership over initiatives aimed at driving entrepreneurship development and innovation and generating a deal flow of investment ready businesses.
Under the JVCP mandate, she has guided the investment process for DBJ’s investment in three VC/PE funds and has impacted more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and student entrepreneurs through various entrepreneurial training and capacity building initiatives.
She has worked 15 years in the financial service industry and has a sound record of achievements, coupled with effective analytical and negotiation skills. Prior to joining the DBJ, she was a Portfolio Manager at First Global Financial Services, a subsidiary of the GraceKnnedy Group. There she was integral in the conception, execution and monitoring of investment strategies for the funds under management. She is experienced in retirement planning and segregated pension fund management.
Miss Segree has a Master’s in Business Administration from Edinburg Business School where she specialized in Strategic Planning. She holds a Bsc. in Business Administration from the University College of the Caribbean.
